Council, 1967

Brax Andrews - from Baltimore, Md. ...a first year councilor after having spent five previous years at Hyde Bay as a camper...will be attending Boys’ Latin School in Baltimore in September...working as a general councilor.

Peter Black -  from Milton, Conn. ...a third year councilor...has been a six—year camper and UL at Hyde Bay...will be attending Milton High School next year...will be working with baseball, swimming, and trips.

David Clinnin - from Baltimore...a first year councilor after two years as a camper and UL...will attend Gilman School in Baltimore...working in tennis, sailing, and riding.

Bruce Danzer - from Baltimore...first year councilor, having been at Hyde Bay for six years as a camper and UL...will be attending Gilman School next year...working in archery and sailing.

Alton Davison - from Baltimore...in his fifth year as a councilor...teaches English at the high school level in Baltimore. His wife, Jo Ann, formerly the librarian at Gilman School has a full time job here at camp with seven year old Ann, two year old nephew, Tribbie, and their new daughter, seven week old Blair...Alton is one of three assistants to the Director...will be handling many camp activities and details too numerous to mention.

John Diamond - from Pittsburg, Pa. ... a fifth year councilor at Hyde Bay, having been here for four years as a camper and UL...will be entering his junior year at Syracuse University in the fall...working in archery, nature, and golf departments.

John Ford - from Cambridge, Mass. ...first year as a councilor at Hyde Bay...has been three years as a camper and UL...has been attending Browne and Nichols School in Cambridge...will be working in baseball and athletics.

Fred Gale - from Manlius, N.Y. ...second year councilor after seven years as a camper and UL...will be entering his senior year at the Fayetteville-Manlius High School...in charge of the tennis department.

Dave Gotshall - from Bethlehem, Pa. ...second year councilor after five years as a camper and UL...entering his senior year at the Hill School in Pottstown, Pa. ...working in sailing and taking many trips.

Hunt Hilliard - from Baltimore...eight years as a councilor...teaches math and Shop in the Lower School at Gilman...his wife, Wilma, is overseeing the laundry at camp as well as keeping an eye on nine year old Deidre...Hunt is also one of three assistants to the Director and is in charge of the Handicraft Program.

Larry Hubert - from Duluth, Minn. ...first year as a councilor at Hyde Bay...graduated from Carleton College and has just obtained his Master’s Degree in math at Harvard...will be entering Stanford University in the fall to start work on his Doctorate...one of the three assistants to the Director and will be spending his time running the camp store and other in—camp activities. He is accompanied by his wife, Barbara, who is a graduate of St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Rochester, Minn. which is affiliated with the Mayo Clinic. Barbara is in charge of the nursing of the campers.

Jeff Levi - from Baltimore...third year councilor after two years as a U.L. ...has just graduated from Gilman School and enters Colgate University in the fall...working in trips and assisting on the waterfront.

McKee Lundberg - from Pikesville, Md. ...a third year councilor after five years as a camper and UL...presently attending Bard College...heading up the sailing department and taking many trips.

Pete Mehl - from Conshohoken, Pa. ...second year councilor after four years as a camper and UL...attends Upper Marion High School in Pennsylvania...heading up the wrestling program as well as spending many hours with the
nature department.

John Mercer - from South Byfield, Mass. ...sixth year as a councilor after fourteen years as a Hyde Bay dependent, camper, and UL...entering his senior year at Harvard...in general charge of the UL tents and trip program.
Todd Lulvenny - from Baltimore...sixth year as a councilor...after four years as a camper and UL...going into his senior year at Washington College in

Larry Pickett — from Hamden, Conn. ...fifth year as a councilor after eight years as a campner and UL...has just graduated from Monmouth College in Illinois...heading up the waterfront.

Rusty Pickett - second year councilor after fifteen years as a Hyde Bay dependent, camper, and UL...enters his senior year at Phillips Academy in Andover, Mass. ...working in the sailing department along with instructing in water skiing.

Jack Poreba - from New York City...second year as a councilor...will be entering his senior year at Harvard...working in the waterfront department an teaching Life Saving courses.

George Radcliffe - from Baltimore...second year councilor after four years as a camper and UL...graduated from Gilman School and enters his first year at Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y. ...working in sailing as well as taking many trips.

Tom Ratcliff - from Watertown, N.Y. ...first year councilor after four years as a camper and UL...entering his junior year at Vermont Academy...working with riding.

Bruce Rice - from Lutherville, MD. ...first year as a councilor after two years as a UL...will be a junior at Gilman School...working on the waterfront and with baseball.

John Schmick - from Baltimore...second year councilor after five years as a camper and UL...graduated from Gilman School and is a freshman at the University of Pennsylvania this fall...working in the theater department.

Josh Shoemaker - from Baltimore...Third year as a councilor after five years as a camper and UL...graduated from Gilman School and enters Denison University in Ohio in the fall...heading up the theater department.

Chooch Turner - from Baltimore... second year councilor after two years as a UL...will be a senior at Severn School in Maryland...working in baseball and on the waterfront.

Chris West - from Baltimore...second year councilor after three years as a camper and UL...will be a senior at Gilman...working in swimming, at the theater, trips, and with sailing.

Mike Whedbee - from Cockeysville, MD. ...first year as a councilor at Hyde Bay...Graduated from Gilman and becomes a freshman at Stanford University in September...heading up the riding department.

Dr. James Dresser - from Baltimore...is in his thirty—fifth year as head of the math tutoring at Hyde Bay...is also head of the math department at Gilman School in Baltimore...lives with his wife and family across the Lake high atop a hill overlooking the water.

Dr. Albert O’Brien - from Cooperstown...is in his second year at Hyde Bay as English and reading tutor...lives with his family in Cooperstown and teaches at the Cooperstown High School.

Henry Norman - from Baltimore...in his fifteenth year as chef at Hyde Bay...holds the same position at Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Va. during the winter.

John Stevens - from Washinton, D.C. ...in his sixth year at Hyde Jay...also works at Episcopal High School during the winter and is assisting Henry in the kitchen and dining room here.

John Wooten - from Washington, D.C. ...first year at Hyde Bay and is taking care of keeping our dishes clean.
