March 18, 2003 -- Warren Hills writing -- Speaking as one of the "older" Hyde Bay Boys, the councilor that JohnJohn ID's as "Smith" I believe to be none other than Neil Smith, complete with his St. Paul's warmup jacket.
February 12, 2003 -- Winston Wood writing -- I realize that for many Hyde Bay Old Boys if you didn't go to Gilman your name was Smith, but the counselor here is Chuck O'Connell
January 6, 2003 -- John Mercer writing -- This must be Tent 53B in 1957. I know Ricky Reese to the far right of the photo and Bobby Pine at the bottom center. The councilor of that tent was Smith; the other campers were Godley, Redwood, and Wright, A. I knew Redwood (was it Johnny?) and if I had to guess, I guess the fellow to the far left, but am ashamed to say I cannot be sure.
